Daniel Cranston takes the 2019 Holiday Silver (FISTF IO) in Maryland

Daniel Cranston (TSC Black Rose 98 Roma) won the FISTF U.S. International Open on December 7, 2019, in Maryland, USA.

Part of the 26th annual Holiday Silver event, this ASA Major featured 29 players from across the country.

In a tightly contested Open final, Cranston defeated fellow US-based Black Rose teammate Paul Eyes by a score of 2-1. [Video:]. Gianpaolo Vitulano (Phoenix SC) and Byung Kim (Maryland SC) did well to reach the semifinals.

Paul Eyes took the Veterans title with a 2-1 sudden death extra time win over Gregg Deinhart (WTSL). [Video:]

In the U19 final, Sam Cohen (Maryland SC) beat Mason Lilly (Maryland SC) 2-1.

The weekend also featured an unofficial team competition, won by Colorado SC—led by Team USA World Cup teammates, Zach Walker and Benny Nuger.
